As much as it sucks, summer is once again coming to an end. Only about a whole week left to get out and break down before school finally starts.
You have may not have known but its only my second ever school year here in Toronto. Getting used to the climate, to the teachers, to the new peers, and a hell lot more. Well, I got used to it –now that summer is just about to end, I have to get used to going to bed late but waking up early… I hate that.
Basically we have 4 subjects per semester, in 2 semesters. Of those 8 subjects, we have 2 optional courses, where we ourselves get to choose. Since I don’t have an instrument right now, I skipped Music and took Media Arts instead. My other optional course is Technological Design - I’m a geek too.
This doesn’t mean that I’m going to go flatline here on Slashdox though. It may even mean more inspiration for this website! However I am not completely sure how I will adjust my schedule with posting, but I will try.
I’ll be using Twitter a lot for the short quick posts probably!
Its a first in Canada, something definitely not to be missed.

Tokio Hotel -its not a hotel in Tokyo but a German band mainly composed of brothers Tom Kaulitz the guitarist, and singer Bill Kaulitz. Others include drummer Gustav Schäfer, and bassist Georg Listing. They have been pretty big in Germany with 2 albums and over 7 million album sales world-wide.
However, it was their first English album Sream that gave them recognition in the Americas (N and S), and Europe.
Many of my friends are addicted to them, and guys think he’s a SHE. Well, HE does look like a SHE after all. With a neo-goth look, Bill is actually twins with Tom who has more of a hip-hop style.

Right off the bat let me introduce you to a friend. He’s a year older than me, he’s a guy, he’s Filipino -not Chinese, not Mexican, or not whatever he looks like-, and he’s a rising star in RnB. He’s been singing for almost all his life, and has recently made a YouTube profile for himself and his music.
His name is Patrick Simeon. He’s a cool guy, goes to highschool, and has an awesome voice. No other introduction required.
Techno music hasn’t hit big on the music charts for a long time, somehow people from Australia don’t think so. Introducing Cut Copy, a Australian band. This electropop band has been in the music zone since 2001, but hasn’t really had a big success. Just now in 2008 did they have a chance to get into the spot light.
They have two albums, Bright Like Neon Love and In Ghost Colours both recorded by Modular Recordings. Ghost Colours hit #1 Australia and #167 in the US.
